What Bible Says about Baptism and Salvation?

What is baptism?

Baptism is a ritual that is ordained by God, it is done by sprinkling water or by immersing the whole body in water with the help of a Church pastor.

Taking baptism is the first step to change your life and live a Godly life and go away from your past sin. It is a belief that when you immerse yourself into the water and come back, that’s where you put your old life and get a new life.

Purpose of Baptism

By taking baptism doesn’t mean that you’ll become pure, or sinless, it’s about your action, how and what you do afterwards. One should not take it very lightly, before you take it, you must acknowledge your deeds and promise to turn from all your evil things, then the father who is sitting in heaven will forgive and help you to live a sinless life.

The purpose of baptism is clear, the one who wants to live a godly life and wants to be there with the lord, then everyone must do it. This is what Jesus also taught us.  Although it doesn’t mean the one who hasn’t taken baptism will not go to heaven. A great example is that man who was hung on the cross beside Jesus. This was his last chance, but if you’re getting a chance now, then you shouldn’t be ignored for any last time.

What is Salvation?

Salvation is something that can never be earned but can only get through grace, this is what Lord Jesus has done to our life. He gave his life so that we may have life. He loved us when we were at our worst by hanging himself on the cross. By the way, who does it. The Bible clearly says that he was completely man, though he had everything in his hand, still, he suffered for us.

Purpose of salvation: Salvation is free! Our Lord wants us to remove our burden of sins, and he desires us to live a great life like a mundane father, he wants us to serve him and serve others through him.

How can one have it?

The only way to get salvation is by believing that the Lord Jesus died on the cross so that we get an abundance of life. Just proclaim that Jesus you’re my lord, read his word, rest holy spirit will guide you.

All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”
